Owner & Mason
Leighton Thayer
Leighton Thayer is no stranger to designing, planning, and executing large masonry or hardscape installations. Leading up to the founding of Leighton's Landscapes and Masonry, Leighton led large-scale installations around new and existing house sites. He prides himself on attention to detail and being a problem solver. Function and aesthetic are at the top of his priority list when planning your outdoor dreams.

A mason by trade, Leighton found himself in the middle of a hardscape and landscape crew in the early 2010s. Falling in love with the creativity and connection to nature, he integrated that skill set into his arsenal and the result is LLM!

Stone Mason
Jeremy Lapan
Our newest addition to the Leightons Landscapes and Maosnry team, Jeremy has a developed craft in anything natural stone. Seemingly born with a hammer in hand- Jeremy is a very talented stone waller and stone patio installer. His talents do not end there- you should see him throw horseshoes!
Jeremy specializes in high-end landscapes and dry lay masonry applications and has done so for the better part of a decade. We are excited to have him on our team!
When Jeremy is not building with stone, he can be found hanging out with his wife, Heather or competing in horseshoe tournaments all over the northeast.

Masonry Apprentice
Thomas Gaiotti
Thomas comes from the railroad with a work ethic that is bar none. He joined Leightons Landscapes and Masonry in October of 2021 and has been a seamless fit since. He will continue to learn the masonry trade and all that is involved in it. Mixing mud, cutting stone, and setting up job sites are the first objectives on his list but we won't be surprised if he is laying stone by the summer's end! When not working, you find Tom dreaming about deer hunting or helping his friends on their own projects!

Stone Hand
Mark Fitzgerald
Mark is a pro on the landscape maintenance side of the world. While we do not offer those services, his attention to detail, never complaining attitude, always willing to do what is right, and ability to lift really heavy objects come in handy on our construction sites. A farmer at heart, Mark is a great addition to the team, While he never stops working, some days you can find him on his four-wheeler around his family farm in Ira or hanging out with his four children.

Operator
Stanley Gaiotti
Stan Joins LLM after a stint overseas. Still an active service member, Stan has a background in auto mechanics and landscape maintenance. He is eager to learn a new trade and really aims to make the job site smooth and functional. Stan has been working on properly preparing patio bases and has gotten the chance to lay pavers. He has also excelled at keeping stone layers moving and conquered his fears of heights.

When Stan isn’t working, you can find him with his three kids and wife, chasing deer or fishing a primo river bank!

Masonry Apprentice
Collin Lewis
Collin joined our team in the spring of 2023 and has been a seamless fit. With no relative experience, Collin has proven once again that work ethic and a good attitude trumps skill. Collin has spent his summer learning how to install patios and tending for the masons on roof top projects.
Collin is originally from the big city suburbs of Boston. When he’s not traveling around the north east to hang with his pals, you can find him spending time with his partner, Allie and their trusty four legged companion, Macy.

Office Manager
Stacey Homuth
Stacey retired for a year but decided to join LLM at the request of her favorite nephew. She quickly learned that although he can build with stone; organization isn't his strong point! Thankfully she runs a tighter ship in the office and now the business is full steam ahead. A talented woodworker, you can find Stacey building custom projects with her father or hanging out with her husband Steve, and dog Gunner!
